Lissy has always loved understanding how human minds operate.
Her passion led her to attaining Honours in Psychology in Sydney, before heading to London. Here she was invited to be one of four candidates training as a couples psychotherapist at the world-renowned Tavistock Relationships, in their 4-year Masters program. Following this, Lissy was invited to remain at Tavistock Relationships working with couples, as a tutor, lecturer, and also in their Divorce and Separation Unit. She held various positions on the Tavistock Relationships Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
Lissy returned to Australia, and founded the Sydney-based therapy clinic, Heath Group Practice. Here she manages and works therapeutically with clients around the world. She has published academic work, was vice-president of the Couple, Child and Family Psychotherapy Association of Australasia. Lissy is also part of Mamamia’s health expert panel and shares her knowledge with corporates.
Lissy understands how critical healthy relationships are to our overall wellbeing. She knows that healthy couple relationships require work, and wants all of us to pull up our socks and improve the way we relate. In her book Relationship Reset and her online course Fight Less Love More, Lissy helps us navigate the complex world of couples, revealing how to do the work to live more joyfully.
